It’s important that you read them, because this is where we spell out our responsibilities as website owners, and yours as a website user. By attempting to register with us and using the website you are accepting these terms and conditions and are legally bound by them. If you do not wish to be bound by the terms and conditions, then you should not use our website.
We may make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. If we do, we will post these changes here and they will be effective immediately. Please check regularly so that you are aware of any changes, as once they appear here, if you use the website, it means that you accept them.
Mypetcard.co.uk Services, including the website are provided by Pet cards Uk Ltd, together with support for Mypetcard.co.uk customers. The Mypetcard.co.uk Services allow you to (amongst other things):
Set up regular money transfers to save for your pet’s treatments;
Make instant one-off payments to your card;
Block and unblock your card easily;
Get notifications of your Purchases in real-time.
Check your balance
Pay for Veterinary treatments and pet related services
Please note that your Mypetcard can only be used at certain types of merchants to encourage the saving for veterinary and related pet care services. A full list of merchant types can be seen below.
You agree that the details you provide us with while using the website or registering with us (such as your email address, your home address, and your phone number) will be processed and used in accordance with our privacy
policy which can be found at https://www.Mypetcard.com/uk/web/terms-and-conditions/privacy-policy/. We may for example use the details you provide us with to communicate with you.
You warrant that all the information you provide us with for the purpose of registering with us, obtaining a Mypetcard Pre-paid Visa Card, and opening a Mypetcard account for you is true, complete, and current, and that the bank account you use for the purpose of registering with us and for future Mypetcard transactions is your own, and that there are sufficient funds available to cover your payments.
When you register with us you must choose a password. You are responsible for all actions taken under your password and you must only use the Mypetcard website under your own password. It is your responsibility to keep your password safe and to ensure that it is not disclosed to anyone. If you think someone else might know it, you must change it. You must not permit anyone else to use your password.
For security purposes you may also enable fingerprint and facial recognition (Biometric Data) on the
Mypetcard website, provided it is supported by your device. We advise that you do not let anyone else add their Biometric Data to your device. Your Biometric Data is not processed or stored by us once enabled, the data remains encrypted on your device.
We take your privacy very seriously. We will not pass on your personal, debit card or bank account details to anyone other than our banking partners. Your joining fee of £10 must be paid into your Mypetcard account on the payment page when you join us.
You can then set up a standing order to pay your saving into the account number and sort code details sent to after you have completed your application for your card.
We will charge you a monthly fee of £2.99 for the use of the Mypetcard online service and your Mypetcard Pre-paid Visa Card. The monthly membership fee will be deducted automatically every month from the outstanding balance on your Mypetcard account. To be very clear, please note that Mypetcard is a SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE and the Mypetcard membership fees are recurring/continuous transactions. Your monthly membership fees will be debited on the monthly anniversary of the date you activated your Mypetcard account.
If you register with us to open an account and then change your mind, please let us know by calling us on 0203 916 5260 or emailing on help@Mypetcard.co.uk and we will cancel your application
We will soon run a Recommend a Friend scheme under which a Mypetcard may recommend a friend to Mypetcard. Under this scheme and as a thank you for helping grow the Mypetcard family, the Mypetcard and/or the referred friend may receive a gift. The terms of this scheme are publicly displayed on our website, and may be varied by Mypetcard at any time and for any reason.
For the avoidance of doubt, we can only reward a referral for a genuinely new referral (that is, someone who has never registered with us before) who opens an account with us. Please note that it may take up to two weeks for the reward to appear in the Mypetcard ’s and the referred friends’ (if applicable) Mypetcard account.
All the content of our website, including the Mypetcard logo, is owned by us and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. Please do not copy, download, or use any of our material for either private or commercial use.

It is a crime to use a false name or a debit card or bank account that is known to be invalid. If you are caught entering false or fictitious information you will be prosecuted. Mypetcard tracks the fingerprints of every person who registers with us, to enable us and all legitimate crime prevention authorities to trace individuals engaged in criminal activities on our website.
Mypetcard has the right to end our agreement with you and to suspend or terminate your access to the website if any of the following occurs:
If you break any of these terms and conditions, or if liabilities are incurred as a result of your use of the website, you will be responsible for the costs and expenses, including legal fees, that we, or our employees, officers, directors or agents incur as a result. This will include any costs that result if someone else uses your personal information, or
your Mypetcard account, unless you can prove that it has been used fraudulently.
